Send a message to the person who requested a photo of the grave monument of Katherine Richardson with the following comment:

I am researching the graves of veterans of the American Civil War (1861-1865) in the mainland UK, of which there are well over 1,000. Alfred Richardson served as a private in the 47th New York Volunteers - he ran away to enlist, with a friend (who died in service), but was under age (gave his age as 22, but he was about 17). His parents managed to get him discharged after 6 months, but he had served long enough to merit being granted a Federal pension in 1922.
